Goal: To create an engaging and uplifting Earth Day campaign that inspires staff to take small, positive actions for the planet, reinforcing the NHS’s commitment to sustainability.
Approach: The campaign focused on building an emotional connection between staff and the environment, using relatable visuals and accessible messaging to highlight everyday ways to make a difference.
Solution: I developed a fresh, nature-inspired visual identity featuring hand-drawn illustrations, organic shapes and eco colour palette.










About my process
My approach starts with understanding the audience and the message the design needs to inspire. For this campaign, I wanted to capture a sense of connection, optimism, and collective responsibility towards the environment.
I created a set of bespoke nature-inspired illustrations and icons to bring warmth and personality to the visuals, supported by an earthy, uplifting colour palette that reflected growth and sustainability. Each design element was crafted to feel positive, approachable, and aligned with NHS sustainability values and wider NHS branding.
The result is a cohesive visual identity that encourages action, celebrates care for the planet, and reinforces the idea that small changes can make a big difference.
